SESSION UPDATE: SERA and the Canadian Urban Institute are pleased to announce that Moreen Miller, President, Ontario Stone, Sand& Gravel Association (OSSGA) will be joining our expert panel on October 27, 2011. OSSGA, in partnership with four other industry associations has been conducting research into the impacts and hurdles for aggregate recycling in Ontario. On Saturday October 8th at 2pm we will be having a meeting against the Mega Quarry at Fresh Start on 40 Baker St. for residents from in and around Guelph. The purpose of this meeting is to learn more about the quarry from each other, have a place to bring up new ideas and strategies, to find ways to support NDACT and to let one another know what we’re up to in terms of defending the proposed site.
