**TENTATIVE DATE**
Next week, LIKELY on Thursday December 8th, Bill 39 will be brought to the Ontario legislature for a vote. Bill 39, the Better Municipal Governance Act threatens the Greenbelt through the removal of Duffins Rouge Agricultural Preserve Act, 2005, as well as the "Strong Mayor" proposal.
The Greenbelt Promise wants to fill the gallery at the Ontario Legislature to show opposition to Bill 39.
The date for the vote on Bill 39 will be confirmed on Monday December 5th. THE VOTE WILL OCCUR ON EITHER WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 7 OR THURSDAY DECEMBER 8 (more likely to occur on Thursday December 8).
