You are invited to participate in our Global Water Dances with the Hillsburgh-Erin community.  Be a part of this international event that will connect over 140 locations in a wave of dance around the world! This series of events starts on World Ocean Day, June 8 and culminates in a world wide event on June 12, 2021  There are many ways to participate in this event from doing a simple movement phrase sitting down in your own home to moving around outside with water. Come and meet weekly via Zoom to learn a piece of choreography that will be performed by other groups at sites all over the world on June 12 or learn on your own with videos provided by both local and the global organizations. Every"body" can join in and all ages and abilities are welcome. Connect with others as we raise local and global water awareness with the focus of safe water for everyone, everywhere.

On Saturday, June 12 please join us on Zoom at 1pm by clicking this link:

Come join Lisa Sandlos, Janet Groves, and an amazing group of volunteers to our weekly Wednesday evening meetings from 7-8pm on Zoom to connect and learn more about this project.

Can't attend this week?  Future meeting links will always be posted on our website.

It also contains past week's zoom meetings/rehearsals if you would like to learn and practice on your own time.

We welcome everyone to join us to learn about water issues, create a movement community, and dance together in preparation for our video production for our June 12 event this year (in person or on Zoom depending on health regulations).

Learn about Indigenous Water Teachings with Knowledge Keeper, Mary Ann Caibaiosai who will join us at 6pm on June 9 before our rehearsal and many other local activists and organizations sharing their knowledge and campaigns.

We can also be found on Twitter and Instagram  @hillsburgh_GWD

Spread the word and let's become more aware of our relationship with water, move our bodies, and belong to a community together.
