Please come to a workshop to help us learn how to best engage you as an audience with your limited time but deep care.

Most moms I know are busy. REALLY busy. What with getting the kids packed up and off to school and with all that running around to extra-curricular events. Mom's don't have time to consider being activated to water stewardship - even though stakes are high for us and the health of our families.

In this workshop, University of Waterloo researcher and Wellington Water Watcher Robert Case will share some results from his recent, local research on community engagement in water issues, and then lead a discussion designed to

(Step 1) get your reactions, experiences and ideas about how to stimulate community engagement on water issues;

(Step 2) identify common themes in this discussion, and then, based on this discussion and with your help;

(Step 3) identify concrete actions that individuals and local groups can take right now to get more people engaged in water stewardship in our community.

Come prepared to share your ideas, knowledge and perspective, and be prepared for an upbeat and action-oriented discussion.
